The Charles Company is a West Hollywood based real estate development and investment partnership founded in 1979, specializing in commercial properties. Its expertise encompasses all areas needed to transform raw land or existing under-improved property to successful income-producing assets. Planning, rezoning, tenant solicitation, financing, construction and property management are also areas where the Charles Company staff excel. To date, the Charles Company has successfully developed numerous projects throughout California and Nevada, with a focus on retail spaces, office, and mixed-use in Southern California’s top markets, including Los Angeles, Imperial County, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Ventura counties.

Our Story
Our in-house team manages every stage of the real estate process from acquisition and design to financing, construction, property management, and leasing that ensures full control and personalized service for our tenants. This approach has helped us maintain a 95% occupancy rate, with our locations offering strong demographics, high population density, and promising growth potential.
The Charles Company also values giving back to the community, with the most notable of our recent partnerships being with nonprofits like Mercy Chefs and Union Rescue Mission. We also support educational initiatives like our student scholarship program at California State University Northridge, our founders’ alma mater.
